mike2153
Hi guys I want to get some squid in middle harbour, I've had some success with just throwing a jig at some headlands but I want to try drifting with a patenoster rig with either a sinker on or a float depending on the water depth, just wondering if anyone can provide some info on this and what are some spots to try I'm just after aarow squid or green eyes just for biait
Kingfish1999
We'll I know at the spit that's the rig they use there cause of the currents and depth, other than that middle head, balmoral and that's all I know for middle harbour Cheers Ethan

Guest Aussie007
i was in dave xxxxhhhgggs store one time the guy on foxtels ifish show and i spoke with him he said the patenoster rig was the way to go at the spit with unweighed jigs ive never tried it tho, i have tried using a small jig off the sand it gets snaggy and only tiny squid follow it in, the water rushes thru there pretty fast
