dogbox
Hi guys, I've got one of those old Department of Primary Industry fish description and measurement label on the back of my boat. Free at the local tackle shop. Its stuck onto a panted surface and I don't want to scratch the paint work and will need to remove likely the paper backing if I just rip it off. The top layer looks brittle so I think its going as easy as ripping it off, I read a posting on removing old rego labels would it be the same process? rockfisherman
When I tried to take the one off my tinny, the corner of the sticker was brittle and broke off, so I stuck the new one straight over the top of it. Done. Same with that sticker that comes out with your rego. Harry Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
GaryO
Try a hair dryer to heat it first and then remove it and use eucalyptus oil to clean of any residue. If the heat fails just use the eucalyptus oil from the start by soaking the edges and working away at it .
