Anyone taken their young ones to The Lion King

Thinking of surprising my niece with tickets for her 7th bday. I was wondering if it's loud enough to scare her. She can be frighten by loud noises. To give an idea of her limits. She can sit through an animated film but she will be frightened of banging drums or fireworks that are close by. You think she will be fine or give it a miss?

Mate saw it last time it was in syd, absolutely incredible stage show but saying that I probably enjoyed it more because it was so full on. Don't know what the new gen is like / there were epic drums when I saw it. My two cents from last round

I'd take ear plugs just in case, I think they seek them there as well. my kids saw Disney on ice and it was as loud as any concert I've ever seen. there we're a lot kids with paper towels in there ears.

my 6yo daughter is in town with the wife seeing it today , we saw it (wife and myself) a few years back when it was in Sydney , wasn't to loud although some props do make there way thru the crowd which could frighten her a bit . im sure because she s with her uncle all will be fine.

I saw it 5 years ago in London and it was simply amazing! Having always loved musicals and seen a good 10-15 different ones i must say the lion king is one of the most amazing things i have seen on stage!

I love it so much i took my fiancee a couple of months back to see it in Sydney... to be honest, it was just as good as the london cast!

Well worth it!
