finin
Gday all, cruised down harbour today with the rain in tow and grey skies. Our plan was to head to the same spot as yesterday but changed a little due jackets. Better conditions greeted us than day before. The east swell had lengthened, and wind a bit lighter but current raging still at 1.5kt downhill. Water temps had dropped to 21.4, but much more blue to it. The wind didnt know which way to blow and the skies looked ominous to the south. At one stage we got hit by an almighty souwester but it petered off as soon as it hit. By the time we came in it had almost glassed off, calm before the storm. Once again we found a patch of snapper in close and pulled some nice fish our biggest went 47. They are funny in their bite at the moment being a bit slow and cautious on the baits. Yeaterday we found bugger all flatties today was different, blue spot heaven. Plenty of good fish also mixed with the same in undersize, which is good to see. Funny had a mad run of dollies throughout the day. Here we are fishing the bottom and pulling rat dollies on pillies biggest at 61 all went back to roam around. Interesting that all fish caught r coming into roe. Anyway, thats about it. Flickn Mad
A feed of reddies and flatties, chuck in the dollies and the weather wouldn't have seemed so bad.
