Penguin
Hi guys, I have not had much time for fishing lately, but have done a bit of squiding any time I have a spare hour or two. Botany bay has been our favourite area to target. My boys love it and have both become pretty good at it. Heres a couple of pics from our last outing last week. Leuke
Gave a green Jig that I'd been ignoring a go in Gordon's bay on Tuesday night after seeing this and managed to jag a nice big cuttlefish. But I didn't have a net so lost it at the rock edge bringing it up.

Linc
seems like green is the cuttle colour of 2014, i've got a bluish green jig, wonder if that will entice them. Damn I still can't get over how friggin alien-like and ugly that thing is lol
UnderFisher
Nice job! I now know why I've never caught any squid at La Perouse- I've been using a pink jig! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

00ROTA
UnderFisher, I will add that colours are less important than the fall rate and physical size of the jigs . Your far better off having a selection of shallows, freefalls, and deep jigs in each size over the colour combo of the jigs. Ofcourse each jig colour combo will entice certain species more due to water condition and times, but it is definately the earlier that effects the catch rate the most
