Howdoweplaythis Posted May 12, 2014 Share Posted May 12, 2014 Saw some guys having fun on luderick a few weeks ago so i decided i'd give it a go. Bought myself a float and some Mustad snecks and went down to Narrabeen headlands to scrape some weed. Found some that looked like the stuff i saw in the youtube videos so i went for that. Headed down to the channel at the lake and asked some nice blokes for advice. They seemed to be getting them every cast and helped me adjust my rig and gave me some good pointers. I struggled for a while, but eventually i watched my float dip down and got into a very nice fish pushing 40cm. Biggest of the day. The next few hours saw me learning a lot and as the sun went down, i had a good bag of fish and threw my remaining weed into the channel to thank the fishing gods (and fatten the blackies for next time!)
