stevefish
This is not a particularly interesting report but may help someone over the weekend, Headed out this morning to find a few squid then chase a bream if time permitted. I got to the spit bridge just before 5, the water was pouring in with the tide but there was no action. I find the spit bridge is difficult within an hour of first light. Moved spots and found a few squid, landing 2 around 20cm hoods and a couple a bit smaller. 4 squid on 3 different jigs so it's hard to select a stand out, but the old pink/white failed today and red foil got 3. With dinner and future Jew bait sorted it was off to chase the breambos. With the peak of high tide coming I headed into the back ends of a couple of areas and found a couple in an hour or so, biggest going 31 to the fork. All up not a bad result and off the water for domestic duties at 9,30. Squid somewhere near balmoral, Bream middle harbour.
