Spykey
Hi raiders, I would like to know what rules apply to fish that is not listed in the recreational fishing guide here http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fisheries/recreational/regulations/sw/sw-bag-and-size For example, if i catch some dart fishes off the beach, how do I know if I can take it home or not as it is not listed in the above guide. SgtBundy
As per this part of the guide: http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/fisheries/recreational/regulations/sw/sw-bag-and-size/about-bag-and-size-limits "Bag limit is the maximum number of fish per person in possession. A maximum daily bag limit of 20 applies to any fish or invertebrate not included in the tables bag & size limit tables." So, if its not listed with size/bag limits and is not on the protected species, you can keep up to 20 of them.
Linc
So, if its not listed with size/bag limits and is not on the protected species, you can keep up to 20 of them. That's right, and there's also no size limit if it's not in the guide. Edited May 29, 2014 by Linc

Linc
Just make sure it's edible, if its something you're not sure of it's identity, post a pic up here before serving it up for dinner and you'll get a response pretty quickly as to what it is and whether it's any good to eat.
