Simon1986
Hi All,I don't head out on a boat very often but some friends and I have hired a boat for tomorrow.. Unfortunately the weather is looking pretty horrible tomorrow 12-18 knots - S-SSW with 1 metre swells. Can anyone recommend some where sheltered in the bay or just around from the heads? Cancelling this trip is not an option we have postponed way to many times hahaha Thanks
GoingFishing
Hey mate , depending on the size of your boat 1m swells might not be so bad. If your boats covered or half cabin you might try just outside the heads however you won't find much shelter our that way. Also if you plan on drifting you'll find it hard to get your baits where you want them . Otherwise try kernel or wooloware bay if you want shelter Cheers
Paikea
I was going out tomorrow but the forecast is lousy and looking at the water it is pretty lumpy out there. Also raining on and off and the wind would blow a dog off a chain. All in all a great day to maintain the gear and plan for better days. cheers Paikea
