bessell1955
All the blue swimmers that I have caught in the Hawkesbury system have been in Brisbane waters. They were all caught on a variety of meat baits. You need to check the Fisheries website in relation to their regulations. Geoff
Sydneyfisher12
The best bait is old fish frames or any old bait will do
The Incredible Hull
The best bait that will almost guarantee you blue swimmers, is a flatty carcass. And just so you're aware, depending on which area of the hawkesbury, it has ridiculous current there, so you may need heavy rocks to weigh down your trap otherwise the current will take it.
