Busy-livin
Today I had about half hour to kill so I hit gymea baths to try for some squid as I've never fished for them After about 15 mins I got my first hit and unfortunately my only in 30 mins but hey first squid so I'm happy When stretched out it was about 29 cm . It went back in the drink and swam off into the deep , My question is as soon as I pulled it out it went a really deep red! Why would if have changed to a dark red ? SquidMarks
camouflage tactic, they can and will change to different shades and patterns to try and 'blend in'. they often use colours next to them to assess what they should blend into so im guessing your one is trying to imitate the black bands on your brag board!
