PeteDavo23
G'day all, I'm moving to the Windsor area at the end of the year but have never fished there. Am still relatively new to it all and I am land based (for now). I'm not really looking for a feed, or to break any records, just to have some fun and get the kids into it. Does anyone have any tips or spots for some safe, kid-friendly, land-based fishing in the area? Thanks in advance, Pete
Verror
G'day Pete. I'm from the area, Box Hill just out of Windsor, however fishing in the part of the Hawkesbury that runs through there isn't the greatest due to the blue-green algea (so definitely not worth a feed) and there are a few no fishing signs around the area that I've seen. Mind you, I'me only new to fishing so perhaps someone could shed more light on this. In saying that, there are some land based spots on the Wilberforce side. I normally drive out to Berowra Waters which is about a half hour drive from Box Hill. Wisemens Ferry is also about 40 minute drive out of Windsor if that isn't too far for you.
