chocolate
Hello all, Went on my first trip which was long over due, It was competition between sections at work, And we did not catch much but we won. Left the bay today at 5.30 am just a little swell, Went past the FAD on the way to the peak nothing on the troll had my best lures out nothing, Water was 18.5, Got to the PEAK bottom bashed about 1.5 hours, We only got 3 leather jackets , There were 2 other charter boats as well but they left just as we did, We then went to Maroubra for some flatties and got 2 nice ones, Fished there for about an hour, The other 2 charter boats looked like they were out the tank fishing spot, A mate of mine who sponsors our club gave me some info on the flattie location and he was right , 50 METER mark , We also tried a couple of different spots but only got smaller ones. After that we headed back as the wind and swell was picking up quick went in the bay again but not worth it, Seen one charter in there the green boat but did not look like he was doing any good as well. My mates from work in the other boat went throw Botany heads they had a deep diver going outside the north head it got slammed they said it was a big hook up, They end up loosing it, They headed to Coogee and hooked up with heaps of KINGSIES but all under size LOL, They also went back in the bay due to the wind and swell and got nothing all day LOL. We called it a day early. We now have bragging rights LOL LOL wait till work on Tuesday HA HA .
