Schnapper
Went out for a Jew, came home with some Snapper. To avoid coming home empty handed we deployed an insurance policy in the form of a few Crab traps and Lobby pot. Picked up a few Blue Swimmers, zero on the lobby. About five or ten years ago, I was able to catch them in December, is anyone having any luck with them yet?
plankton
Where were you? They are in Brissy Waters I think. I prefer the Muddies tho!
Schnapper
One in Pittwater for zero, One up the Hawkesbury for three, the lobby pot off the light house for zero. Was looking for muddies, that was the target for the Hawkesbury trap. Might try Brissy Waters next time. Cheers

golf_fish
Can't use traps in Brisbane Waters Very true, but there not that hard to get on a hand line or the likes though. But you can find them pretty much all year round in the right spots..... Beautiful eating things they are too!!

Very true, I'm going to try my luck at making a birds nest out of 50lb old line with a hook in the middle on Saturday. See how that works. I tried the stocking thing last weekend however I think the current was ripping through too strong.
