ACZ
went yesterday despite the 10knots wind outside. Headed off maroubra in search of salmon schools. spotted hundreds of mutton birds about a km out and decided to troll skirts up the coast for zilch. Logged on the GPS and decided to hit a spot in 45m of water on a gravel bottom. Caught 4 good flathead before the chinamens came on. Changed to wire droppers and caught a stack of them- keep 19 which ranged up to 1.5kgs. on the way home came through the heads and spotted schools of salmon working baitfish. Threw 20g raiders at them and caught 12 between the 2 of us in about an hour of spinning. anyone else fishing outside botany bay?
