Botany Bay 23rd Nov

We have been planning on going to Botany Bay with 3 mates of mine for a while now and finally the days comes were we can all make it. We launched about 5am, and headed straight around to the oil wharf, as we passed mollies point it was like a car park everyone getting live bait, so many boats. Anyway when we get to our spot we throw out some squid jigs and soon we start catching them. One of my mates (first timer) losses 3 of my squid jigs so he decided to just net the squids that we catch, as he's doing this he gets sprayed in the face with one of the squids damn it was so funny, we all have a good laugh and end up getting about 12 squids between us, and then it dies down. We decide to troll to Little Bay with no luck. Another mate catches a Slimy Mackerel about 30cm trolling a lure and that's it. We were really hoping for some surface action like Sydney harbor but it didn't happen, hopefully next time. The weather is getting hot so we head to Brown rock where a mate has a quick swim. After that we move around the bay with no luck so we head back to the ramp and man it was hot at the ramp and full as well. Nice day to be on the water.
