Scent Blazer Lures
they might not be around yet, I put a trap out this week in the harbour for zip as well. If they are around yet they should start turning up shortly, its the right time of year and the water is warm enough now
Jocler
Best bet is in the weed beds straight in front of the groynes along the beach front. Put them in out of casting range and keep your eyes on them if you can. They tend to get raided on the weekends. J

Davemmm
Theres blueswimmers in the Bay all year round just very few in the cooler months. At the moment though they are patchy and your best bet will be Towra and potentially Brighton. The trap you are using is better suited to muddies. Get yourself four (was five last year) witches hats and some fresh mullet. Spread them about 20-30 feet apart and check them every 30-40 mins and if you havent got any after two checks move them. Cant help with the squid as i havent had a proper dig for them in the bay for ages Dave

mitchie18092
I just come across them when i'm wading the sandflats chasing whiting and flatties. some big ones around too. i've heard that in around the moorings near the sailing club can be good? not my specialty though mate so someone else might have a better idea. Guest no one
We caught 2 out at Towra this weekend just gone, they are there... Just need to give the traps time. As for squid, persevere... They are around too.
