Just upgraded the boat to a 5.2 fiberglass and I want to try and look after the finish. It had a buff and polish before I purchased it but now I want to give it a good coat of wax to protect it,can I use a good automotive wax or do I need special marine wax ?If so what do you all recommend Regards Stu.. locodave
Sweet. What did you get? Is it new? If its old and you have stains, i use Goof Off from bunnings. Really good on finreglass to remove stains and marks. Wont damage it at all. After that i just use a fibreglass polish from B SEE F. But meguirs would be good just from using their auto products.
