Belligero
Hi All, Planning on taking the boat out Friday for a soft plastic session around Brisbane Water. Keen to get some flatties and bream. The waterway will most likely be packed full of other boaters. Anyone else planning on doing much fishing over the next few public holidays? With all this unstable weather it may get the fish fired up. Now the Christmas shopping is done I might even sneak in a rock session if lucky! Cheers
Rami
Thinking of going but unsure of the weather at the moment.
Guest no one
Weather dependant I'll be out most days as the mrs has to go back to work! Just understand the water is all of ours and just not fishermen. Tolerate the Jetskis as much as you can, if they are just being a nuisance then report them. Remember stay safe, some rougher seas predicted so life jackets on!
FishingGuy
Heading down to Lake Illawarra for the prawn run on Christmas Eve, good idea or not? Cheers, FishingGuy

I would image Lake illawarra would be the same.
gregh1
Certainly understand what you mean about the jet skis!! Some have no respect for fishos!! I am off until the 12th Jan so I will definitely be having a few more days on the water. We may go up to the gold coast for a few nights after xmas. Hope everyone has a safe xmas!!! dnmn8r
I thought Jet skis were bad until I started fishing the harbour. Then I constantly had people in sail boats constantly get within 3 meters of the back of the boat, many times picking up my lines with them. Got until the 4th off, so hopefully there'll be some clear days in there.
mrsswordfisherman
I have sanitised this thread a little. The people on jetskis can be annoying we all have experienced that but let's leave the idea of trying to hurt or maim them out of our posts please Back to the topic - where is everyone fishing over Christmas
thefisherman6784
Everyday (nearly) around my local, on Seamus' boat, around the harbour, etc, etc, etc. Merry Christmas everyone! Cheers Gianni Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SgtBundy
Most likely having a few goes around the harbour and the Entrance over the holidays where I can, although the holiday crowds might mean having to go further a field but being land based options are what they are. Have a few weeks off so might try some new locations if possible or wherever I can combine wetting a line and letting the kids go to the beach. Also have a mate out at Bathurst I have been promising to visit and we usually throw a few lures into Chifley dam.
