Berleyguts
Don't you hate it when you are looking forward to a fishing trip and something throws a spanner in the works? I was so looking forward to taking the boat out tomorrow. I was planning to launch at Parsley Bay and fish out of Broken Bay, trolling from Barrenjoey down to Whale Beach etc. I got home from work this evening and went to move the boat into position for an early start and noticed that it wasn't sitting on the trailer right. It was on the front roller OK but had moved off the centre and rear rollers. I mustn't have centred it properly last time out (came in in a 20knot southerly) but I hadn't noticed any problems. I decided it wasn't worth risking the tow all the way to Brooklyn as it is. Looks like I'll have to tow it gently to Penrith, float it off, then put it back on properly. Damn! How are the bass doing in Penrith Gorge? Baz
Stimo1076
Hey Baz, Went Bassing in the Nepean a few days ago, Nothing big. Got 6 around the 30 - 35 all in the morning. You have to go up a long way to try and get away from the Kayaks and skiers it was pretty busy.

In the end , I just floated the boat off and winched it straight back on and drove home to do the gardening! Glad I didn't tow it to Brooklyn as it was - the trailer just felt a bit unstable with the boat sitting as it was.
