Hey guys

As the title says, got a new ultra light combo!

It's a pflueger patrairch 9525 with ultra fine 10lb PE WX4 braid matched with a beautiful majorcraft nextino 1-2kg trout rod

Got down to the canal and straight away 2 cast, christened the rod with a nice little bream about 15cm post-33634-14199372213228_thumb.jpg

Any fish is fun on this rod

Anyway made my way to the flats with a little surface lure on and was getting some big whiting coming up and then eventually hooked up but lost it. I then changed to a deep diver and instant success with a whiting of about 25cm first cast

Then next a flattie which went super hard which was about 38cm

Then another whiting a bit smaller around 20cm

Then another tiny whiting

Then ended the day with a nice flattie back at the canal about 42cm which was heaps of fun

Thanks guys

Witha it is gold

It stays in my room and if we have people over it goes back in it case and in its tube

It casts a mile

Iron cove has been firing lately and no so much on flattys but on big and small bream and whiting

Can't wait for today and tomorrow and the next day!

Because this braid is I.G.F.A which means what ever lb it says on the packet is what it brakes at

Unlike fins or power pro which brakes over what it says on the packet

6lb fins breaks at over 12-15lb so I put this 10lb on

Any lighter in this brand of braid and I would cast of nearly every lure
