Hill60/bass pt 17/1/15

Got to hill60 around 3pm. Wind was blowing hard. At least 20/30kph. Had a look. About a dozen fishos on d ledge. Stayed for 15mins and decided to check bass pt.

Got to bass pt around 4pm. Wind was ok. Swell ok. Around a dozen fishos spinning. Saw one fisho landed a salmon. Decided to rig d alvey with pilly on float. After about 30mins, landed my first bonito for 2015. High fives all round. Got another bonito after another 30mins. The other fishos were catching bonito salmon kingy on lures. Rig my daiwa combo with pilly on float coz my fingers r starting to hurt using d alvey. Something grab my bait and it went straight under d ledge. Tried for 5mins for it to come out but no success so decided to cut my line. Packed up around 7pm. My other mate caught a trev n a tarwhine. Got home around 10pm.
