Guest hawkesbass Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Hit up the georges landbased with ddaniel on tuesday arvo. Arrived at our spot on turn of the tide for the runup. We both started off with blades with me getting the first litlle bream on my first cast and dan having no luck for about half an hour in this time i managed a big hook up and run for the fish to bust me off on the ledge suspected big bream. I got another bream. Dan moved further away from me and hooked a bream as i was watching him fight his fish i got a snag so i left some slack on my line and took a few photos as i returned to retreiving my blade a little flattie hit it kindly dislodging it from the snag for me and was promptly landed. Dan got another bream although it was foul hooked through the dorsal fin. Dan got another bream soon after on a plastic the only fish caught on plastics this trip. We packed up and headed home after two hours. The fish were not monsters but still a enjoyable session. Cheers trevor

Guest hawkesbass Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 We used 6.6 and 4.5 gram blades. Depends on current flow and water depth for what size blades we use.
