bay and canal

Went with sydneyfisher12 today for a flick at the bay and canal today

First I got there before he did and I was using a small hard body, a lot of takes and hook ups but none wanted stay on

After that sydneyfisher12 and we started burlying with some bread, not much except for a small bream.

So after we went to the uts and I got the surprise of my life! Not a new species but the smallest flathead I have ever seen, let alone caught, just as I was lifting my 2" zman grubz out of the water he came and grabbed it! I didn't measure but estimate 10-15cm

After got a decent 40-45cm on a 2.5" grubz

Than we came back to canal with no luck but seamus pinned a little mullet while chasing bream

We went to the flats after and I hooked up to a small bream that ate a 3b scum dog

Not much after that except for some surface hits so we went home
