Port Hacking

Headed out at first light to Lilli Pilli deep water.

Used pillies for 2 tailor, 32 and 40cm. Missed a number of bites, probably tailor of the smaller size caught, the pillies were a larger size, heavily salted and fairly tough.

Had a rat sized king swimming around the boat for a while, did not bother trying to hook him. A few bigger fish splashed around, so threw out a lure and hooked up a salmon, which kicked around for a short while until it jumped and spat the lure. Looked around the 60cm mark. Also pulled a crab on a bait.

Pumped some nippers and drifted various spots. Pulled out 3 flatties, the best at 44cm so not that big, and 2 whiting of 32 and 34cm. Also saw a few eagle rays cruising the shallows sucking out the nippers, the biggest over a metre across. Plenty of small whiting stealing the nippers.

Returned to mums to put the boat away, and pulled a bream of 28cm. A few cruising about when I threw out the fish scraps.

Good report once again mate,as for disliking technology......I'm with you all the way.

Just the other day I had my 5yr old nephew in the ute asking me how to wind down the window.

He said there's no button uncle.(I have manual winders lol.)
