Botany is windy in most directions, if the winds above 10knts then i go Hacking as you can hide easily... But depends on the boat obviously

How big is your boat? I draw the line at about 15 knots for botany in my 4.3M runabout, beyond that it would still be fishable but choppy and uncomfortable and not many places to hide, like Tef1on said, the hacking, or even the harbour has plenty of hiding spots from a Noreaster.
