It was our friend Sonyas birthday today, she was at her dads place

She didn't answer the door, in the shower.

Jacqui says Just go, So....

2nd drift fish, then another 8.

One under size went back immediately, the rest went back later.

im taking my nephew for his first go tomorrow.

So I will get back on this post.

Hi all.

I went back today with my nephews Iew Calum for his first crack at them.

I explained the technique and what to look for and we got started.

Sonya said it rained very hard last night and I thought the fish may have gone.

It was a slow start before I got a touch , and pulled up a solid ocean fish.

Calum got a few downs, then he hook up, but dropped the fish at the net.

I got another, then Cal was on again.

He didn't rush it and played him out ro th net.

Sonya made us a bite to eat, while we were filling our faces both floats went down.

Typical, you look away and the fish bite. We missed them both.

Things slowed at the tide change and we moved to a difcerent spot.

We got a couple more then called it a day.

I'm happy Calum got his first, we may have a new member.
