28 29th January Rose Bay

Fished rose bay near the seaplane base both mornings just for chopper tailor to about 40 cm... Consistent action starting at 6:30 in the morning til about 8 am. I believe that there may have been kings under the tailor as they were also jumping out of the water as well as the small whitebait/anchovy.

I only had bream tackle so it's probably for the best that I didn't connect to something bigger

Hey bud, well done on the tailor- that's a great result, must have put up a good fight on bream tackle! Did you get any pics? I often fish Rose Bay with plastics, but don't tend to have huge amounts of luck there unless it's on the flats on a quiet day- it's impossible to fish them on the weekend with all the paddle-boarders and sail club members about. Any tips for catching the bigger fish there?
