Purchasing a Used Ourboard

Hi guys,

I was thinking of purchasing an outboard from interstate. Though the outboard has been on the water on a house boat? Should I avoid this?
Any advice would b really appreciated

its probably got 5000 hours on it.

buy it assuming it it will die at any time, have corrosion issues and been worked hard

ask the question why are they selling it and theres your answer
