Hi. It's a confusing post / request. There isn't a lot of ramp launch that side and if your thinking of heading up to 15km out that's a big spread.

What are you wanting to target. What boat do you have. If heading out there are much better launches on the north side of the hacking.

Tonkin Pk boat ramp at the end of Gunnamatta bay or the ramp in Dolans bay would proberbly be your best bet.

Get there early as the hacking can get very busy at this time of year.

As said there all on the Northern side.

Cheers.

4.25m - 18kms out? You're brave!!

Be carful of the swells on the heads and the bommie, personally I'd stay inside the hacking. Plenty of reports and posts on how the hacking is fishing right now!

I was also thinking of going out this area - im staying inside and not going to open waters - I got a 3,6m boat -

I wanting to know if there a boat ramp around Bundeena side?

just want to try to avoid going Cronulla side because of traffic

Guys, for boat ramps check the boat ramp forum section. Also Google searches and an app called boatwise will show you ramps.

For info on the area try searching in our forums. We've had at least 10 port hacking reports this month with up to date details on where the fish are caught!

Thanks,

Ed

There's a small Boat ramp located inside at Bonie Vale Reserve . It's were all the jet skiers launch there jet skis but I would highly recommend a 4wd as its not a concrete ramp & unless your boat is 4.25 Aluminium I wouldn't really recommend it . I've been going there for years & I don't know why as to this day they haven't built a decent ramp there yet . I've even spoken to a few locals on numerous times & they all agree that the place is overdue for a ramp !
