mike2153
I bought a 1600 lumen squid light to and fitted it to my boat. But I was wonderingn what sort f success people have actually had using them and if there are any tips to using then? Cheers guys
gianniz
squid uses eyes instead of smell to locate their prey thus having a light on where you cast will attract hungry squids.
Zacnoel
When we fish for squid in the early morning ( pre sunrise) I now always turn on the flood light on the rear of my boat cabin. I never did in the past but can say without doubt that my catch rate is higher with the light on
Ribs
Yes light definetly attracts squid, I'm trying to find a waterproof light to have submerged about 1 metre running off a pole fixed to a tempory clamp..... However unable to locate, if anyone knows please let me know. Cheers
