sebcox
Hey Lads! So the weekend 28/29 of March will be my old mans birthday and considering its been nearly a year since hes been out fishing Id love to take him on a trip up or down the coast to get amongst some of the great fishing weve seen as of late! The only question is... Where?! We arent looking at going a huge distance away but a bit of time out of Sydney for the weekend would be nice. This will be the first time 'the big boat' will be out in nearly 2 years due to having things go wrong over and over and over but after the work done and alot of $$$ down shes ready to go. Its a 5.85m fibreglass boat with a new 150 e-tec so should handle off shore quite comfortably. Likely to look at getting amongst some nice kingies if there is anywhere you guys can suggest thats holding some big boys at the moment but I know he will be more than happy to fish for reef species (snapper, morwong) etc if it comes to that. Any suggestions either north or south to chase those species (or others you may think of) would be greatly appreciated and you can expect a great report on (hopefully) plenty of great fish when we return. Cheers, Seb

Oscarthebeagle
Greenwell point or crookhaven heads 2 hours south of Sydney. Close in reef, flathead drifts for a feed, banks and blockncheese for kings and gamefish and good river fishing if the wind blows. Also good Chinese at the Greenwell bowls club. Ribs
Launch from murrays beach in jervis bay, collect squid off the ramp in 4metres then troll live baits whilst flicking poppers around the SE corner of Bowen island or point perpendicular nice and early for kings.... If nothing come into middle ground and keep trying... They are there .
