Fab1
Hi guys,as some of you guys may have read my old trusty garmin 300c has died after 4 years of faithful service. Today I went out and bought/installed his bigger brother a Garmin 350c from a boating store for $199. The big boating and camping store want $399 for the same unit...what a Rort. Online the lowest price I saw was $280. Hopefully it serves me as well as my other little unit did. Cheers. Edited April 7, 2015 by Fab1

Fab1
Is it the same mounting holes?Yes the same mounting holes for both the head unit and transducer were used. All I had to do was solder the power and ground to my switch panel after running the wires up through the gunnel and screwing the head unit to the dashes existing holes which was a tight fit due to being bigger than my old unit with barely a mm or 2 between the windscreen to allow a full 360deg rotation and be able to tilt. Then simply screw down the transducer and set the height and tilt. The bilge pump I purchased and installed to become legal as my boat has floors and in essence is classed as having a covered bilge and requires one. So now I have new nav lights,a bilge pump and a new sounder that I didn't have a couple of days ago.
