Hi All,

As my boat was damaged due to a falling tree I've decided to replace the hull. My current one was very dated even before the tree put a hole in it.

I have purchased the hull-only vickers easy rider. I think it's around the 16ft mark.

I'll be chucking on my johson 70 and it will sit on my trailer as it's better then the one being supplied.

Does anyone have one of these hulls or know much about them? I think they are very similar to the nautiglass which I currently own.

I might need a hand getting my 70 from my current boat over to the new one.

Going to need a hoist or something, Really want to avoid going to any marine mechanics as they'll charge me through the roof.

You can hire a car engine crane from Kenards hire or similar and use that to lift the Johnson off, then move the old boat and position the new one and drop into position.

I think it cost me $60 for 24hr hire.

Thanks Antony, I might just hire one just so I don't put anyone out / waste time etc. But thanks for the offer.

Was thinking of just finding a big tree and using the trailer winch to lift up the motor!
