Live bait

Hey guys

I am very new to fishing

I have a tinnie so i can fish Brisbane water and tuggrah lakes... Been looking at starting to use live mullet as bait what sort of fish would i target if useing this sort of bait....

Any tips on geting poddy mullet i have a fish trap from bcf i am near a creek thats at chittaway bay

Hi Ross,

Small live mullet are a fantastic flathead bait.

Larger ones are a great Jewfish bait.

Spot the mullet in the shallow sand banks using your polarised sunnies.

Go and put the trap with a few pieces of bread inside in the spot where you saw them. Leave it there for 15 minutes of so while you go and flick a few

soft plastics around and when you come back you should have a few livies.
