Yeh you guys were killing it and I wanted some of that action so I have ordered a few to try and even up the odds and will bring my good gear up next time with the boat.

Lets see what the HDS 7 shows me when I get back.

Great to see you young blokes with a passion .....brings back memories

Those zerek lures look good but they cost two arms and a leg :puke:

Yeh, by the time you come back we will be using a new lure or maybe it has already happened. Not all the locals were interested playing in the rain on the weekend. No shortage of gun fishos running around the Entrance. You guys missed a really good Blackfish day on Friday went to see the boys down the lake that day for 30 mins to drop off a carton and Larry caught 5 or 6 while I was there followed closely by his Mrs plus the rest of the guys, plenty of fish. It was good to hear you guys still had a good weekend and a good turn out in the rain. Apologies to Mrs Swordfishermen for the no show. I thought I would be feeling a bit more energetic , but still to close to heart surgery plus the rain. Zereks prawns , live target prawns , yamashita prawns 1/2, ecoda prawn any of these around 50 - 70 mm works well on the perch.

Hi mate that is an awesome collection great colours and combinations that would certainly get the job done up here. That is best collection I have seen, hard to believe you didn't bring up and fly gear . I would have liked to have seen the results as a lot of fresh in the lake at the moment. May be next year as the perch have been around in the lake most of the year with the amount of rain we have had lots caught on shrimp.

Yeh I thought you were being up dated with the lake but most want to fish for flathead or blackfish. The perch have been good all through summer lot caught on bait fishing with shrimp. Ecodas are good but believe the zereks are better just hard to get ya hands on and a bit more exe, also work quiet well on flathead and bream. Just got my next 10 zereks to ad to my collection. As I said have huge collection like your flies but just plastics. You still must bring fly gear up, believe you would have all sorts fun. We're you cleaning motackle ups stock.

Hi mate great looking lure, believe they call them prongs in the states first one I've seen but read a few articles from the bass circuit and have also in Aus on south coast. Now will have to buy a few as I know they have great rep.
