gday raiders

fished both saturday and sunday around sydney

decided to fish inside the harbour on saturday trying for king

had to get some live squid as thats about all they've been taking inside at them moment i managed 4 squid and 1 cuttle one squid was a very good size and kept for dinner

after getting the squid i went to one of the wrecks i know of in the harbour and marked some good bait and arches over the wreck

downrigged a live squid right over them for nothing did the same at a few different markers and wrecks but only ended up with pickers and this one 30cm bream which took a whole live squid and hooked up on a 7/0 live bait hook

i went back to one of the wrecks where i marked the most bait and had a bit of a jig using my gomoku and a 90g jig after about 5 drifts i hooked up solid to a nice fish it came to the surface so i was thinking it was gonna jump and be a salmon but it came right up and then ran deep after some very good runs i landed this 70cm bonito.

that was about it for saturday

headed out on a mates boat on sunday we headed wide the weather report was good but as you can see it was a bit rougher than forecasted

plenty of big kings out there we didn't do as well as most because we couldn't get on the spot because our sounder was stuffed but we did manage a few and i got smoked a couple of times and leather jacketed

and that was it for the weekend

Sounds like two decent sessions seamus, not the best u've had but still at least u caught some nice fish

Great bonito mate. One of them would be nice off the rocks on 20 lb. what did it weigh or did you send it back without weighing.
