Port hacking 17/05/15

once again went out to our usual spot on port hacking. At the wharf. It was dead. Got there at 8pm fished to 12! Managed 3 yellow tails and 4 squid! But when I said dead. There was not one single decent bite between the 3 of us.. So we swapped gear and went for yellow tails..... The mrs said I'm wasting time and that I should go for crabbing!!!!

Does anyone know where I can catch blue swimmer??? I'm also happy to buy some live fresh blue swimmer if anyone comes across some when they head out. Have to keep her happy.... Or else my chances of heading out will drop dramatically lol.

Does the cold night really affects the fishing?

Picked up a blue swimmer on a hook at lilli pilli! So i'm guessing there should be a few around unlucky to see wally's dead

My good man that is illegal to buy crabs from anyone with out a license ...so if anyone PMs you make sure you tell me so I can BAN them for breaking the Site Rules

There are a few great places in the hawkesbury for blue swimmers Ive caught over a dozen in there on a line usually occurs when the fish are not biting, drop a crab pot on the edge of mooney mooney creek next to the road bridge and the main river should get a few there.

So if I catch them I can keep them in Hawkesbury? And I can use pot schembo? I never knew selling crab is illegal lol. But I will keep that in mind mrswordfish.
