Perhaps others can start dedicated threads for their units. And perhaps a new sub section in the boating forum? Even though I'm subscribed on the simrad site I missed that there has been some significant software updates in the last couple of months. Most notably in my opinion is the ability to run CHIRP and DI /SI at the same time Here's the changelog NSS evo2 Software Update RELEASE DATE: 16 March 2015 Recommended for the entire range of Simrad NSS evo2 chartplotter/multifunction displays, including the 7, 9, 12, and 16-inch NSS evo2 products. Purchase and download from the GoFree™ Shop directly to your NSS evo2 display’s memory card for immediate use on the water. Receive automatic notifications when software updates are available, download and install updates without leaving your boat. NaClH2OK9 Posted January 16, 2016 Author Posted January 16, 2016 NSS evo2 Software Update evo2 3.5 Update Features RELEASE DATE: December 2015 The new software enables StructureScan® 3D with significant enhancements to SideScan and DownScan Imaging™, TripIntel™, Heave Offset for Echo, SonicHub2 audio server compatibility, in addition to other enhancements. The update also includes compatibility with the latest WM-3 Weather Module software.
