Botany heads luderick

So after Saturday's effort returned to fish a bit closer to home at a place nicknamed Scrubbys by the boys cause a while back I opted for a not so shortcut that required a bush bash! Fished a protected corner with some local rock weed and we bagged a dozen in. I time and released a few more looks like a good run heading into Botany Bay so the Georges should fire soon!

Great haul. Looks like an old faithful rod - i bet that's seen some action over the years. I couldn't get out last weekend so having to enjoy fishing vicariously through Fishraider. I'm hoping to fit in a short blackie & mullet session in the tinny at Narrabeen Lake next weekend , so here's hoping they're starting to move upstream.
