daniel944 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Are there any ramps around Revesby, Padstow aparts from the boat shed at picnic point and the national park at the end of the river rd? I seem to remember there been a ramp in salt pan creek on the hurstville side but now cant find a reference to it? Thanks
ambrose607 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 (edited) Google Clarendon road boat ramp Riverwood./Peakhurst Edited June 4, 2015 by ambrose607
amkr Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 The sandy point one looks useless. VERY steep and no parking nearby
ambrose607 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Hi Daniel. I've just done my detective work and realized that you had trouble with that jet skier at the Revsbey boat ramp. Mate i hope you aren't looking for another ramp because of that D@$KH#&D.You obviously have your 3yo son to think about also but in life unfortunately there is a Knuckle Head on every corner whether it be trains, shopping centers even road rage. Just use your regular ramp. The one at Riverwood is pretty crappy from the reports.
ambrose607 Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Yeah exactly amkr i went land based in the park next to the ramp and half way back up the hill walking back to the car i didn't know whether to call a taxi or an ambulance. Very steep
dogbox Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 There is one at deep water park at the motor boat club I use Sandy Point regularly I have 560 bar crusher launch and retrieve by myself Parking is ok as long as others boaties DONT TAKE UP TWO SPOTS!!! I've never had anymore than three boats parking at Sandy Point No pontoon to tie up too so at high tide buffers are required low tide you can find your self hopping off the back of your boat sinking into a foot of mud. Como and the Wonni bridge have ramps What type of boat and car do you have? dogbox
Welster Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I'd pick Oatley although I haven't used it for a long time. George's hall and Moorebank flower power are the only others.
