Really looking forward to our fifth oz trip over in October. We will be there for 3 months :sun: Planning to meet up with a few folk I know on here and have had a few kind invations out for fishing trips which are great.

Just wondered if the forum members have the odd "get together" ? Would love to be part of that :sun: We will be based at Collaray this time.

Just googled the RSL at Collaroy and it looks mint :sun: How many Raider members live close to there ? Fancy a meet up there ?

Any local fancy babysitting a pommie "barsteward" and his wife fishing Narabeen Lagoon ?

Would like to add blackfish and jewfish to my species list. Have not a clue how to catch them apart from the fact that weed seems to be the bait for the black fish . Also I will be based approx 100 yds from Collaray Beach. With light spinning gear what might I catch ?

Kind regards

John

John. Socials tend to be a mix of day or half day informative events around a particular topic ( soft plastics. Understanding sounders ext. ) or longer fishing and socialising weekends. I attended the recent entrance social with all intent of showing my skills. I arrived on site and was offered a beer by my raider neighbour. At 4:30am I was still up drinking and practising knots and telling fish tales. The weekend continued on this vain until I had to consider recovery time.

I'm in constant touch with Raiders on a personal level and frequently fish with people who are friends not just online names.

Dave. I haven't had some many laughs in a long time. Wayne is an absolute artist. Wish I saw him online a bit more. Tbh there wasn't a lot of consideration of recovery. Fortunately it was an arvo depart.

Looking forward to hooking up again. We may not have caught many fish but we put the world to rights mate.
