Camo1808 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Hey guys. My mum won me last night a deep sea reef fishing charter with ($/% €₩@#$×+) based on central coast. I am going to gather a few of my mates and head out. the voucher is valid till end of the year so im wondering is it best during summer or winter. Whats the difference and variety of species i can look at catcing. Just wanna know what im best doing as ive never fished in open water. Cheers Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
stevefish Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Later the better. I'm guessing you will be booking a couple of weeks ahead so you can't pick your day too well. August and September are a bit windy, October is possibly the coldest water all year. After that things are on the improve.
pjbink Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Winter and spring can be good for snapper, so I wouldn't write these months off. Do they give reports of their trips? That might be the best way to get an idea.
