harold
Guys, have sold my Signature 630F to a chap in Cairns. I dont have a trailer as it is kept in dry dock. Can any of you guys who own a 630F tell me what trailer you use? Does it need trailer brakes? Harold Edited September 15, 2004 by harold
Bashir
Ours is a Tinka MT1999A. Its a pretty decent trailer. You will definately be needing brakes on it!!
Rusty
If the trailer GVM (Maximum allowable weight trailer and load) is over 750KG you will need trailer brakes, in NSW not sure if QLD is same.
Hookem_Herby
Same in Qld if my memory serves me correct. I'd advise you get a braked trailer in any case Harold, just to make sure the boat gets there ok. Why did you sell your boat mate? Getting something bigger again? :ohyeh: Herby
harold
thanks Bashir. Trailer is not for me, the buyer asked if i could find out what others use. I sold this too cheap, i had 3 enquiries and 2 firm offers within 24 hours of the ad being on line and no one has even looked at the boat. Deposit due in the bank within the hour. Hookem, Yes we have decided to go back to a cruiser. We are just a bit nervous with a 13 months old kid in a little boat. I find i keep asking myself the what if questions and i dont like the answers. harold Edited September 15, 2004 by harold
cajun
I have a Sealink trailer (which is a rebadged buggered if I can remember). I can now - it's a Special trailer. Excellent trailer, very good reputation. Ken Edited September 17, 2004 by cajun

Hookem_Herby
Good on ya Harold. As mch fun as boating is, it's certainly not worth endangering your life or those of the ones you love. No doubt a cruiser will have all the safety and creature comforts you desire and require! Don't you just hate selling stuff too cheap!!! :-mad2 :crankymissus: Maybe you should've posted something on here and asked the Fishraiders to value your rig? :confusuion: Aren't we all just so much wiser in hindsight. Look forward to seeing the pics of the new boat in the boating section when you get it. Cheers, Herby
