Ryder
WOW... I love Fraser Island, and Ive caught some good fish on the bay side. I've been twice, but never had a chance to fish the real beaches. When the subject of holidays comes up Fraser is always at the top of my list. My wife says ' We've already been there , twice' She just doesn't get it. fragmeister
That looks like a record to me. WOW...I love Fraser Island, and Ive caught some good fish on the bay side.I've been twice, but never had a chance to fish the real beaches. When the subject of holidays comes up Fraser is always at the top of my list.My wife says ' We've already been there , twice'She just doesn't get it. I went there about 15 years ago and my wife hated parts of it. All that "bumpy driving" over from the bay to the beach side of the Island is what did it for her. Plus we had a baby at the time who was terrible in the car... you couldn't drive for more than few hours because when he woke he just screamed continuously ... it was enough to make you want to drive into the oncoming traffic! By comparison I loved it. More tailor than you could poke a stick at. The Jewies were on while I was up there so we got into those during without having to do an all nighter. Dart and big silver bream in the gutters The dingos were a little bold particularly when you were on the beach alone but with a few fishos they were never a problem. The sharks in the gutters just a few meters from the shore were very cool. I'd go again ... but I am afraid I would have to leave my dear wife at home. ( Sorry Darling!)
