Browns mountain sunday 17th

Headed out to Browns to try for a mako.

Got to the mountain about 7 had a drop using the alvey deck whinch (what hard work!!)

Pulled up a nice gemmie. 1 metre on the dot, first gem I've caught!

Burlyed for about 2 hours drifting South off the mountain. Not a single shark to be seen!

Headed home stopped at the half way mark had a quick jig and got an 80cm king.

That would realy make browns a carpark!

yeah, and makes the carpark at port stephens a real car park. I know someone who has been on one in Tobago, he sent me the link, apparently they are really safe, unsinkable, I don't know what kind of range they have, not a lot I guess.

but how handy, just keep a few rods and lures the boot, if you worked somewhere you cross water, you could troll to and from work
