garfield28
Hi all, I want to get a custom made Bimini top made with a clear front screen and rocket launchers, think it will be possible to get this and have change from $1000? If I have some change I wouldn't mind getting some upholstery done also. If anyone can recommend someone around Newy or Port Stephens I'd really appreciate it. Thanks Geoff Edited August 22, 2015 by garfield28
Guest 4myson
I doubt it mate , I know for a fact these guys charge a fortune ! Your better off buying a Ready made Bimini & rocket launcher & fitting them yourself & then just get the clears made up by the trimmer .... A decent Ready made Bimini & rocket launcher will set you back around $350 ...

Not in port stephens but they are "Mobile" Very happy with result, was $3000 including Bimni and launcher, front and side clears, rear curtain and travel cover. Take out curtain, sides and travel cover and prob close to 1000? $3000 WOW I'm not even anywhere near that sort of dough.... I would really love to get it done though as it adds so much more to the boat when the conditions turn

Guest 4myson
Thanks mate. You know anyone who has done it this way and if it looked good? I've done a few this way & they've turned out great . I've even done it to my 23ft walk around , but I'm still waiting on a trimmer to get around to get the clears done ... $3000 WOW I'm not even anywhere near that sort of dough.... Swifty13
i think there was 1000 in travel cover and them rear curtain so if you only wated the bimini launcher and from clear $1500 wold easily cover it. I needed the travel cover cause of the miles i tow boat, and the curtain provides security for overnight stays. As i said, im wrapped with it and if you want to talk to the guys who did mine look for someone who does "mobile" boat covers
garfield28
I just want something similar to the picture attached. I have also attached a pic of my boat (the one without the launcher or clears).
bendalton
I pretty much got that done on mine 6 months ago - $600 for Bimini, $600 for clears, $250 for rocket launcher. So $1450 total. Very happy with it, but the guy is in the shire, south of Sydney CBD Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
locodave
If you want stainless steel like the one on the right, you won't get any change, you would need at least $2k +

Good to know it might be possible then.
