l2oBiN Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Hi Guys, has anyone had experience with the spikey donut type surf sinkers?
Crossfire63 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Commonly called Tailor Rigs or Sand grippers and yes they work really well as a running sinker especially for whiting, break and flathead. We use them for tailor fishing as well as they let the line run through them so the fish feels very little resistance. Send me a PM if you cant find them
l2oBiN Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 Hi mate. Are we talking about the same sinker? These are the ones I saw... How does the line run through them? They look like terminal sinkers... http://www.marine-deals.com.au/media/catalog/product/cache/2/image/20a47c594fd742a59f0b1ac9b87e1814/K/S/KSSAND5OZ.jpg
Crossfire63 Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Similar They also come with a whole drilled in them so the line will run through as it sits on the bottom
l2oBiN Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 I am looking for a mould for them.. Anyone know where I can buy one? The run through ones might be better?
l2oBiN Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 Crossfire where did you buy the through the sinker hole ones?
