Witha Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 G'day raiders! Been a while since I've managed a proper fishing trip, work is an absolute slog lately. BUT; all those overtime hours have converted into a 4 day weekend next week! Leaving Wednesday night we are taking the Kayaks up to the Manning, planning on fishing two days salt then moving further up river for some brackish and fresh fun. The river is a bit of a mystery to me not having fished it before, anybody have experience with it? We will be throwing lures for the usual estuary species and hopefully new season bass further up. Any tips or tricks appreciated! Cheers Witha
Scratchie Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Hey Ben! I haven't yakked the manning yet but it's on my to do list! I have a mate up here that's done it many times so I'll pm you some info if I can get a hold of him! I have yakked further up in the Maria river. Great spot for bass and EP. I will be interested how you go! Cheers scratchie!!!
