Krispy ! Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Headed out early this morning in hope of a kingfish after I got one last week and it started off well with a 55 cm salmon in the first few casts, there was plenty of surface action but the fish were very timid as they were chasing micro baitfish. Had a couple of missed hook ups as well where the hook didn't find its place. It was another couple hours before the next fish which was another salmon at about 47cm. At this point the southerly started to blow and I wanted to stick it out for abit longer but the wind made it really difficult so I left early. Quiet little session but I think this summer will be a cracker season.
